DARK STILLNESS

Monochrome explores the expressive possibilities of reduction. By removing color from the composition, the series shifts attention toward contrast, texture, rhythm, form, and the subtle relationships between light and darkness.

Black and white are approached not as opposites, but as elements within a continuous visual dialogue. Their interaction creates spaces of tension and balance, while the absence of chromatic distraction encourages a slower and more concentrated way of looking.

The apparent simplicity of the works becomes a space for contemplation. Subtle variations in surface, density, gesture, and negative space acquire greater significance, allowing each composition to reveal itself gradually rather than through immediate visual impact.

Through this restrained language, Monochrome considers reduction as a form of clarity. The works invite the viewer into a quieter visual experience, where simplicity creates space for attention, reflection, and stillness.
