ZERO TRACE

Zero Trace explores material transformation as both an artistic process and a position of resistance. Working outside conventional hierarchies of value, the series brings together discarded textiles, recovered jewellery, earth pigments, plants, stones, and other reclaimed materials, allowing what has been overlooked or abandoned to acquire a new presence.

The works are built through accumulation, reuse, and transformation. Fractured surfaces, organic rhythms, natural textures, and traces of previous lives remain visible within each composition, creating a material memory in which past and present coexist. Nothing is entirely erased. Instead, existing matter is reorganised into new visual relationships.

Sustainability here is not treated as an external theme but as an integral part of the artistic language. The distinction between subject and material gradually disappears as nature becomes both medium and method. Ze ro Trace proposes an alternative understanding of creation, one based not on producing more, but on observing, recovering, and transforming what already exists.
